IRAQ SAYS IT SHOOTS DOWN A U.S. SPY PLANE

BAGHDAD, Iraq said its anti-aircraft artillery shot down a U.S. reconnaisance plane near the city of Bassora this morning. "A second U.S. spy plane has been brought down by Iraqi air defenses in the south today," the official Iraqi News Agency INA reported. U.S. declined any comment.
