U.S. NORTHWEST ACCUSED AND FINED BY DOT FOR MISTREATMENT DISABLES PASSENGERS
USA, U.S. carrier Northwest Airlines has been accused by Department of Transportation (DOT)of mistreating passengers with disabilities and asked to pay USD$3 million in fines. Airline would have charged with hundreds of violations of federal law and DOT regulations prohibiting airlines from discriminating against the disabled, each on which can be fined up to USD$10,000.
