QANTAS MAINTENANCE WORK TO STRIKE NEXT WEEK

AUSTRALIA, Maintenance workers employed by Australian Qantas said they will stop work for 24 hours next Wednesday, Sept. 12, following a breakdown in talks on a new enterprise agreement with the airline's management. Qantas said the industrial action could result in delays to some flights.
