THE METAL PIECE FOUND ON THE RUNWAY OF CONCORDE CAME FROM A CONTINENTAL DC-10
PARIGI, French accident investigators said the stray metal piece found on the runway from which concorde took off came from a Continental Airlines DC-10. A statement from Bea said said a DC-10 of Continental missed a part "which appeared to be identical to the metal piece found on the runway after the July 25 accident". It is a part of the engine.
