THOUSANDS OF PASSENGERS GROUNDED DUE A KLM MECHANICS STRIKE

SCHIPHOL, THE NETHERLANDS, Thousands of passengers remained ground due to a Amsterdam Schiphol Airport KLM mechanics wildcat strike, which forced airline to postpone all 13 international flights in the busiest day of the summer season. About 200 engineers of KLM Royal Dutch Airlines went suddenly on strike to press for higher wages.
