SIGHTSEEING PLANE CRASHES IN ALASKA
ANCHORAGE, A single-engine Maule sightseeing plane crashed into a mountainside near Bettles, in northern Alaska. The four occupants, a pilot and three americans on a sightseeing trip, were found dead by officials. troopers said the plane apparently crashed after taking off from a lake where the group had stopped on their way back to Fairbanks.
