AEROFLOT EYES AER LINGUS

MOSCOW, Russian Aeroflot is considering a 300 million bid for the irish low-cost carrier Aer Lingus. Valery Okulov, Aeroflot's ceo, recently indicated that he was in takeover negotiations with an unnamed Irish carrier that is supposed to be Aer Lingus. The takeover would allow Aeroflot to expand its european destinations.
