BIRMINGHAM INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT TRAFFIC UP IN JUNE
BIRMINGHAM, Birmingham International airport handled over 800.000 passengers in June, with a 4,3% increase year to year. Scheduled traffic rose by 8.5% due to airlines introducing new routes and increasing flight frequencies. Chartered traffic showed a little growth. Services to European countries went up by 4,9%.
