The acquisition logistic division of US Air Force headquarter has a guide, the "Indipendent Logistic Assessment" or ILA, that supplies a valid support to the program managers of Aeronautic on choosing, planning and proceeding to the acquisition of new weapon sytems. The Usa Department of Defense in fact keeps constantly under control the aim to reduce as much as possible the costs for weapons acquisition....
