AIRTRAN WILL RETIRE FOUR BOEING 737-200

NEW YORK, AirTran yesterday said it will retire its last four Boeing 737-200 jets in the third quarter in attempt to lower costs. The airline is currently receiving few Boeing 717-200, one per month. So it expects to have a fleet of 30 planes of this model by the end of the year.
