EU directive about the aircraft crew’s working hours
Strasbourg, France – It was enacted yesterday by European Parliament
European Parliament gave its green light yesterday to a new directive which regulates, in a common way for the 25 countries of the Union, the aircraft crew’s working hours. Pilots, stewards and hostesses will have not to work consecutively more than 13 hours, which will be reduced to 11 hours and 45 minutes if the take off happens between 10:00 pm and 05:00 am.
