Tender for US Army multirole helicopter: the reply today

Washington, USA - Finmeccanica, EADS, Bell, Boeing and Lockheed Martin have been joining it

The result of the tender for 320 multirole helicopters supply to US Army, which is USD 2bn worth, is expected today. Competitors are AgustaWestland US-139 (Finmeccanica Group), Eurocopter EC-145 (EADS Group), Bell Helicopter Textron 142 and MD-900 by the team made up of McDonnell Douglas (Boeing Group) and Lockheed Martin.
