Sao Paulo, Brazil - Passengers grounded all around the world
It was a very difficult week-end for the Varig passengers all around the world. In fact the Brazilian carrier, because of its financial crisis, was obliged to cancel 118 international flights on a total of 189 ones, leaving grounded thousands of passengers, 11,000 in South America, 4,000 in USA and 13,000 in Europe, most of whom in Germany where they were following the World Football Championship....
