Increasing traffic for Hong Kong airport
Hong Kong, China - Passengers +7% and airplanes +7.4% in May 2006
Hong Kong International Airport registered 7% passenger increase in May, compared to the same period last year, while air traffic grew by 7.4%. 17.7 million travellers have passed through the air station since January and flights per month have been 23,260 on the average. Cargo movements, which are equal to 283,000 tons in May 2006, increased of 4.5% compared to May 2005.
