The European Parliament changed in first reading a regulation project which aims to decide common fight security measures against terrorism for Member States. In particular, changes concern the use of the so-called air sheriffs, private agents on board of planes, who cannot bring weapons during their service without the authorization of departure, arrival and eventual stopover Countries.
