About 400 clandestines were transfered from Lampedusa

Lampedusa, Italy - To Pian Del Lago and Crotone

After last clandestine landings in Lampedusa island, Sicily, which lead to nearly 500 the number of hosts at the Welcome Center (see AVIONEWS for details), seventy immigrants were transfered yesterday to Pian Del Lago’s (Caltanissetta, Sicily) Centre and more 340 were carried to Crotone (Calabria) thanks to the air lift opened by Italian Home Office through private airlines and military aircraft.
