BAA: Spanish Ferrovial increases its bid up to 900 pence per share
London, United Kingdom - BAA keeps on rejecting the bid and asks for 949 pence

Ferrovial makes known that it offered another bid to BAA (British Airport Authority), airport management company. The Spanish bid (see AVIONEWS 1, 2, 3) is 900 pence per share, equivalent to 9.73 billion pounds (EUR 14.2bn). Baa answered that bid is still under expectations. The British authority, in fact, asks for 940 pence per share in accordance with an evaluation which Ferrovial considers not unbelievable...
