New launch for the European rocket Ariane 5
Kourou, French Guyana - The rocket transported two satellite
On last Saturday the European rocket Ariane 5 put in geostationary orbit on the Equator two satellites: a mexican one (Satmex 6) and a Thailandese one (Thaicom 5) realized by Alcatel Alenia Aerospace. The launch is carried out from the Kourou base, French Guyana, and was the 27th one of this type of rocket. The last version of the Ariane is able to transport in orbit a 10 tons load.
