China bought two Eurocopter's EC-225 helicopters

Beijing, China - They will be used for Search and Rescue missions

The Chinese Ministry of Communications and Eurocopter signed an agreement for the purchase, by Chinese Government, of two EC-225 helicopters. The rotorcraft, the most up-to-date of Eurocopter’s fleet, will be used for Search and Rescue missions. The two EC-225 will be delivered within the end of the 2007 to can be used during the Beijing Olympiad which will take place in the Summer of 2008.
