London, UK - British industry asked EUR 6.4 billion to sell its Airbus share

Bae Systems made known to its partner in Airbus EADS to have the intention to exercise a put option to sell is 20% share of the European consortium (see for details AVIONEWS). The British industry, among the most important in aerospace and defence sectors, asked EUR 6.4 billion, that probably it will re-invest in the military sector, a sum that EADS (which owns the 80% of Airbus) defined as astronomical....
