Greek military aircraft disappeared by radars

Athens, Greece - Search and rescue operations in progress

This morning Greek radios made known the news about the disappearance of a Mirage-200 fighter aircraft of Greek Air Force, engaged in a training flight, by the radars. The plane disappeared at 9:30 am, 8:30 Italian time. Greek Defence Ministry announced that Search and Rescue operations to save the pilot are in progress. Currently there are not more news about the event.
