Grupo Ferrovial will not increase its bid for the purchase of BAA

Madrid, Spain - The total value of the operation is of GBP 8.7 billion

Spanish company Grupo Ferrovial, which in the last months launched a bid to the British airports manager BAA (see for details AVIONEWS) announced that it will not increase its bid for the "beyond the Channel" company. Spanish group made known the formulation of a tying offer to buy all BAA’s shares for a price of GBP 8.10. The total value of the operation is of GBP 8.7 billion.
