CROSSAIR: LOSSES FOR $14 MILLION IN 2000

SWITZERLAND, Crossair reported a loss for $14 million in the year 2000, blaming fuel costs and the high US dollar exchange rate. Officials from the carrier said they hope to return to the black by the end of the year. Crossair saw its revenues grow 9.5% and load factors and the number of flights increased too. Operating costs climbed by 17.6%.
