NORTHWEST COMMANDING PILOT DIES OF HEART ATTACK DURING FLIGHT
MINNEAPOLIS, A commanding pilot of Northwest Airlines died last night of heart-attack during a flight from Los Angeles to Minneapolis. The co-pilot landed the plane without incident. Thomas Christianson was 53 years old and had been with the airline since 1972.
