AirAsia triplicates its fuel demand in 2006
Kuala Lampur, Malaysia - New airplanes and new destinations increase requirements
AirAsia, the Southeast Asia low-cost airline, plans to expand considerably in 2006: its fleet will be increased passing from 38 to nearly 50 planes and Asian destinations will become 68. Demand growth for discounted flights makes the airline forecast an increase from 2005 6.2 million to 2206 8.6 million passengers.
