ALASKA AIRLINES GROUNDS 18 BOEING MD-80
ALASKA, Alaska Airlines is grounding up to 18 Boeing MD-80 for inspecting the jackscrew implicated in last January's crash, in which 88 people have been killed. The airline reported to FAA (Federal Aviation Administration) that tools used to check jackscrews may have produced incorrect readings.
