A new international airport for Vietnam

Hanoi, Vietnam - Country aims at relaunching its tourism

The new international airport of Vietnam will stand on the island of Phu Quoc, in Kien Giang province. The airport would be built on an area of 800 hectares, and will have dimensions able to meet the demands of 2.5 million passengers a year. The work is estimated around USD 158m and it is expected to be complete in 2009. Phu Quoc is the most Southern island in Vietnam and is very close to Cambodia....
