QANTAS INTERESTED TO BUY AIR NEW ZEALAND STAKE

AUSTRALIA, Has been confimed today that Australian carrier Qantas presented a offer to the two major Air New Zealand shareholders, Brierley Investments and Singapore Airlines, to buy a "significant stake" in New Zealand airline. According Qantas, it would also involve Air New Zealand selling its stakes in Ansett and Ansett International to Singapore Airlines.
