US AIR FORCE REQUIRES MODS TO GPS IIF SYSTEM

USA, The Air Force is modifying a contract with the Boeing Corporation, Information and Communications Systems, Anaheim, California to design and develop modifications to incorporate new military and civilian signals into the Global Positioning System IIF satellite. This modification incorporates increase of signal power and a change in the generation of civilian signal.
