Czech Airlines to close 2005 with loss near EUR 16m

Prague, Czech Republic - Airline's President, Jaroslav Tvrdik, reported it

Czech Airlines, carrier owned by Czech Republic, will close 2005 financial year with a loss near to USD 12.1-16.2m. The loss was due to fuel high cost despite of 2005 passenger traffic increase (see for details AVIONEWS). Czech carrier expects to return to profit by reducing costs drastically on the next year, said Czech Airlines President, Jaroslav Tvrdik.
