LUFTHANSA PILOT TO HOLD OFF ON STRIKES

FRANKFURT, Lufthansa and pilots Union Vereinigung Cockpit yesterday agreed to take their pay rise dipute to arbitration. Michael Tarp, spokesman for the Union specified that the pilots would stop striking while the arbitration will be still under way,but they would immediately resume walkouts if mediation would fail. Vereinigung Cockpit Union represents 80% of the airline's pilots.
