Cost of damages affecting recently the power plant of a Bell/Boeing V-22 Osprey tilt-rotor in the USA, forced to land after a sudden failure during a flight with bad weather conditions (see for details AVIONEWS), would be included between USD 200,000 and 1m. Technicians are still verifying the reasons for such a problem but it would have probably dealt with ice pieces damaging the compressor blades...
