JAL DOUBLED PROFIT LAST YEAR BUT EXPECTS FALL THIS YEAR

TOKYO, JAPAN, Japan Airlines, JAL, doubled its profit last year but the company expects profit to fall about 40% this year, due to a reduced passengers seat demand and reduced air cargo transport requests. Only fuel prices increase alone is expected to inflate airline expenses by 42 billion yen.
