Rescue helicopter plunged in Germany

Berlino, Germany - Chopper caught fire after crashing

A BK-117 rescue helicopter pitched down today, around 11:00am, in a forest area near the town of Weilheim/Teck (South German). Aboard there were pilot, a doctor a paramedic as well as a 28-year-old female patient bound for Munich’s hospital: they have been all killed. The rescue copter, after crashing to the ground, has immediately caught fire. The reasons of the accident remain unclear to date.
