Catania, Italy - A boat carrying 60 clandestines went missing

A sixty clandestines aboard a ship were reported missing in the Canal of Sicily last evening. The brother of one immigrant resident at Reggio Calabria, alerted rescuers after receiving a call from the boat. An aircraft from the Italian Coast Guard took off from the base of the 2nd Air Unit at Catania-Fontanarossa and six motor patrol boats sailed from Lampedusa, Gela, Sciacca, Porto Empedocle and Licata....
