AIR FRANCE CONDAMNED FOR OVERBOOKING
PARIS, FRANCE, French flag airline Air France has been sentenced for overbooking by the appeal court of Douai, and condemned to pay to the appellant, Marianne Defenin, the sum of 2000 francs for compensation, plus 5000 francs for trial costs. According to the appellant's lawyer, this court decision could be a precedent in other similar cases.
