King Charles and Queen Camilla are due to land at Rome-Ciampino Airport this afternoon for a few days' visit to Italy to mark their 20th wedding anniversary.

At the moment it seems that the program has been confirmed with the institutional meetings, while that one with Pope Francis (still convalescing after almost 40 days of hospitalization at the "Gemelli") should be skipped, barring any last-minute surprises.

The State visit with the President of the Republic Sergio Mattarella is scheduled for April 8 and 9 at the Quirinale Palace.

Then on the morning of Wednesday 9th at Villa Pamphilj the meeting with the Prime Minister, Giorgia Meloni.

The Chamber of Deputies will welcome, on Wednesday 9 April 2025, King Charles III and Queen Camilla. The ceremony is scheduled for 2:50 pm in the Chamber of Montecitorio, introduced by the presidents of the Chamber and Senate, Lorenzo Fontana and Ignazio La Russa, then the speech by King Charles III. Finally, in the evening, a dinner is scheduled at the Quirinale Palace in the presence of the Prime Minister and the Head of State.

After the Italian capital city, the English royals will move to Ravenna on Thursday 10 April.

For the occasion, there will be displays today and tomorrow by the "Frecce Tricolori" and "Red Arrows" planes.
