“Growth and new hires in two years” – VIDEO and PHOTO

At the end of the press conference (see for details AVIONEWS) organized by ITA Airways and Lufthansa in the occasion of the official celebration with press of the Italian-flag airline’s entry in the German Group, AVIONEWS spoke with Joerg Eberhart, CEO of ITA Airways, about its future now that it has joined the Lufthansa Group

Expanding the fleet with regional jets, staff excellence and the business plan: these are the main points Eberhart focused on, answering our questions.

“After this first year of consolidation, we expect growth in 2026 and 2027 on long-haul, with the prospect also of employment and new hires”, he said during the press conference.
