No one was hurt. Only minor damage was reported to both Latam Airlines aircraft, an A-319 (registration PT-TMA) and an A-320neo (registration PR-XBG), which collided on December 3 at São Paulo-Congonhas Airport, Brazil.

In essence, while taxiing, the right wing of the A-320 collided with the tail cone of the A-319 which was in a parking position transverse to the runway. The first was about to take off for a direct connection to the Curitiba airport, in Paraná. The second was preparing to fly to Belos Horizonte, in the Brazilian State of Minas Gerais.

The passengers of both aircraft, the airline said, were safely disembarked and re-routed to other flights. The airplanes were also ordered to be stopped from service for subsequent technical inspections.
