The Company, in Germany for more than 40 years, confirms its willingness to strengthen industrial cooperation in this Country

ELT Group is participating in the "Berlin Security Conference", one of the largest European security and defence policy events, that takes place on the 19th and 20th November appreciating the importance of the German environment for such important discussions.

Thanks to the experience gained over more than 70 years in the electromagnetic spectrum domain the company is internationally recognised for its Electronic Defense Systems. ELT today is an international Group with a multi-domain approach that also covers Cyber, Biodefense and Space.

Over the years, the company has collaborated in various consortia and is now actively involved in the international development of so-called sixth-generation systems, primarily in the avionics field. ELT Group has been involved in the Eurofighter program since its initial stages. Today, in cooperation with the other partners in Eurodass, it is heavily involved in updating the main functions of the DASS Praetorian, with the aim of maintaining and improve the system's high level of performance. The Group is also part of the NH industries programmes for the NH-90 helicopter and collaborates with navies around the world to provide very advanced EW systems.

On ELT stand visitors can find more information about the Group technologies in the different domains such as wide.band RF and EO/IR. In the IR domain, the DIRCM (Direct Infrared Counter Measure) triple band system belongs to ELT family of IR Countermeasures systems. The system provides a reliable and effective protection of avionic platforms against surface to air missile threats (MANPADS – Man Portable Air Defence Systems). It is the first European DIRCM based on Quantum Cascade Laser (QCL) technology.

Recently ELT Group extended its EMSO capabilities into the Space Domain, which is becoming more and more strategic for both civilian and military perspectives. On ELT Group stand visitors can see a model of SCORPIO, the first Electronic Intelligence sensor designed and developed by the Company, put into LEO (Low Earth Orbit) orbit last year.

ELT Group gives priority to the German Defence environment expressing it through its 46 years local branch with development and production facilities in Meckenheim and a representative office in Berlin. We are pleased to define these structures as ELTGROUP Germany. The aim of the Group is strengthening cooperation with German industry opening new partnership. ELT Group positioned itself as a supplier of Integrated Electronic Defense Systems for the German government for the most significant defence programs such Tornado, KWS-RMB, KWS-Hornisse. Furthermore, it will enhance its offering with the conception of electronic active defence solution on the German naval programs.

By means of its location in Meckenheim, ELT Group provides local operational and technical logistical support for its systems as well as distinguished engineering capabilities for the development of Radar/EW test & evaluation solutions, such as the WTD71 EW-Simulator, including the foreseen development of EW Digital Twin environments.
