Spain: Vueling and Barça Women present the football team's new plane

A-320 interior and livery inspired by players' careers

The Blaugrana team will inaugurate the aircraft this Saturday, on the occasion of the match against Real Madrid

This week-end, before the match against Real Madrid, the Barça Women will board the Vueling Airbus A-320 airplane for the first time with a new design that, with the slogan "Dream, Play, Fly", features the images of Aitana Bonmatí, Alexia Putellas, Caroline Graham-Hansen, Salma Paralluelo, María León and Patri Guijarro representing the Blaugrana team.

This new design is inspired by the careers of the players of the first women's team: how they dreamed of playing when they were little girls. The interior of the plane, which will simulate a football pitch by incorporating the central circle in the aisle, features a new customization of the seat headrests, with the colors blue and garnet and the slogan "Dream, Play, Fly". In addition, the windows display a message related to the partnership and on the outside of the fuselage, under the pilot's window, the name of this collaboration will appear: "Blaugranes al vent". Seven months after the sponsorship agreement was signed between Vueling and FC Barcelona, the collaboration has become a benchmark in the world of sport and aviation thanks to its innovative nature, its social commitment and its extraordinary projection towards the future.

It should be noted that this agreement made FC Barcelona the first European women's football team to have its image projected on a plane of a scheduled airline. In these first months, the Airbus A-320 aircraft has accompanied the players to European and national competitions. It has also transported more than 125,000 passengers to 60 destinations to which Vueling flies throughout Europe. In total, almost 750 flights have been made, covering more than 740,000 kilometres, thus helping to give visibility to women's sport, one of the objectives of the collaboration.
