The first A-320neo aircraft with a renovated cabin entered service in the last few hours

New livery and a completely renovated cabin with latest generation interiors. The first narrow-body aircraft of the national carrier Air India entered service in the last few hours. It is the A-320neo plane (registration VT-RTN) which operated the New Delhi-Bangalore route (flight AI813). The airline's objective is to improve the services offered and ensure its customers a first-class user experience.

The 320neo aircraft was delivered on 7 July 2024, the day it landed after a flight departing from the factory in Toulouse, France. The new plane is equipped with three classes: Business, Premium Economy, Economy. This underlines Air India's commitment to enhancing the product and passenger experience.

In particular, the cabin dedicated to high-spending customers is equipped with eight luxurious armchairs, each of which ensures one meter of space between one seat and another, equipped with legrest, footrest, movable armrest, headrest adjustable in four positions and extendable table with one button and support for electronic devices. Finally, the Premium Economy is equipped with 24 seats (3-3 configuration in four rows) and the Economy with 132 ergonomic seats (3-3 configuration), all equipped with USB ports.
