Bologna Airport: two-day stop to the people mover
Emilian airport will be served by replacement buses active on the entire line
The monorail passenger transport service to and from the "Guglielmo Marconi" international airport of Bologna-Panigale was suspended for two days for maintenance. The people mover "Marconi Express" trips will be stopped starting from 4:00 pm on Tuesday 18 June, and will then resume regularly from 5:40 am on Thursday 20.
During the stop period of the monorail passenger transport service, the connections between the central station of Bologna and the "Guglielmo Marconi" airport will still be guaranteed by buses. The departure points are the following: the exit of the "Arrivals" Terminal on the ground floor of the airport, the Bologna-Lazzaretto station (via Terracini) and the Bologna-Centrale station (via Carracci). The journey will take approximately 25 minutes.
The management company of the "people mover" has announced that in any case the night service "Marconi Express 940" will remain available: this includes two trips from the "Marconi" airport to the central Bologna railway station with departures at 1:15 am and at 4:30; and two trips in the reverse direction from the station to the airport with departures at 00:42 and 4:00.
