The Airbus Group will deliver the first ACH-160 helicopter configured with lounge seating today. The aircraft will be taken over by the Italian company Air Corporate, based in Verona. The rotary-wing aircraft will enter the operator's fleet and will be used for the rental service for luxury passenger transport, characterized by cutting-edge aircraft with a high level of comfort and safety.

"It is the new benchmark in the medium helicopter category". The Lounge option "targets those customers seeking a balanced blend of value retention, comfort and mission efficiency". This makes it easier to convert the aircraft for "other operations in a second life", a procedure "almost impossible" with the Exclusive version, explains Frederic Lemos, head of Airbus Corporate Helicopters.

The helicopter will be transferred today on the occasion of the international European Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition (Ebace), taking place in Geneva, Switzerland, from 28 to 30 May 2024. To date, the European manufacturer has delivered 10 examples of the ACH- 160 in VIP version. The aircraft, which entered service in 2021, has 30 units under construction and has been delivered to the Philippines and Malaysia in the last 12 months.
