Agreement between alliance and various big global companies
The Sustainable Aviation Buyers Alliance (Saba) announced that it has signed a historic agreement with various big global companies for the acquisition of high integrity production certificates for Sustainable Aviation Fuel (Saf). The agreement includes an investment commitment of almost 200 million dollars over five years.
This series of agreements involves nearly 20 companies operating in the corporate aviation sector, including four fuel suppliers and three airlines. The investment will generate approximately 50 million gallons of aviation fuel and reduce 500,000 tons of CO2 emissions, roughly comparable to the polluting gases produced by 3,000 planes operating a full-passenger route from New York to New York.
