Italian Poste airline renews agreement on maintenance

Entrusted to a well-known national operator monitoring five B-737 airplanes

The air carrier Poste Air Cargo, an Italian company of the Poste Italiane Group, has signed a 30-month agreement for the maintenance of its entire fleet, made up of five B-737/400 freighter version aircraft, that is intended only for the movement of goods. The agreement was signed with a well-known Italian operator in the sector based at the "Ugo Niutta" airport of Naples-Capodichino.

"It is the consolidation of a ten-year partnership, we are ready to support Poste Air Cargo in their fleet renewal plan", is the comment of Gianni Lettieri, President and Chief Executive Officer of Atitech, a company specialized in aircraft maintenance services, which collaborates with the air division of the Poste Group for over ten years now.

The company announced that in the last two years it has successfully completed more than 30 heavy maintenance events on the Poste fleet: C checks, revisions, modifications, and Aog (Aircraft on Ground) interventions that is emergency repairs for a damaged aircraft.
