London fails nuclear missile test
Launch took place at the end of January off the coast of Florida
The UK has reportedly failed to test a depowered Trident nuclear missile. The launch would have taken place last January 30th off the coast of Florida. Considered a fundamental weapon for Great Britain's deterrence capacity, this is an embarrassing flop for the British armed forces, which had already failed the test in 2026.
This is what emerges from a revelation published today exclusively by the "Sun" newspaper, which recounted the details of the missile test. Immediately after the launch, the armament crashed into the Atlantic Ocean, not far from the ship from which it had been launched, the battleship "HMS Vanguard", on board which was the British defense minister, Grant Shapps, which confirmed the test failure due to "an anomaly".
