Malaysia Airlines: 12 new aircraft arriving
The first A-330neo is expected to be delivered in the 3Q of this year

The Asian Malaysia Airlines will see the entry into its fleet of 12 new aircraft in 2024, including the first A-330neo, which is expected to be delivered in the third quarter of this year. A total of four aircraft of this model and a further eight B-737 Max 8 aircraft have been ordered. The purchase of 20 A-330neo aircraft is also planned, deliveries of which will end in 2028.
The Khazanah Nasional Group currently operates a total fleet of 104 airplanes through its subsidiary carriers Malaysia Airlines, Firefly, MASwings and MASkargo. In detail, Malaysia Airlines has 72 aircraft: 42 B-737/800s, then 15 A-330/300s, six A-350/900s, six A-330/200s, and finally three A-330/200F freighters. The Malaysian airline will configure the new A-330neos with 28 seats in Business class and 269 seats in Economy.
