California strengthens its prevention mechanism against forest fires. For this reason, the Southern California Edison company (Edison International Group), which offers various types of electricity services in much of the southern part of the state, will use drones and helicopters to inspect its plants. The objective is to mitigate the risk of fires breaking out due to malfunctions and during the execution of works.

In detail, in the coming weeks the company will conduct a series of operations in the city of Wildomar. The urban area is in fact adjacent to two large natural parks located on the west coast of the United States. The UAV will be used to inspect electrical equipment and infrastructure, placed on poles and pylons, from difficult angles, identifying any damage or potential hazards that may require immediate repair.
