Planes: the comeback of Monarch Airlines, which unveils the new livery
The company prepares to return to the skies after years of hiatus - VIDEO
British air carrier Monarch Airlines unveiled its new logo and livery to the public yesterday. The company, which is preparing for its relaunch after years of hiatus, is gradually revealing more details about its image, route network, fleet and commercial strategy. The new logo features the white letter "M" on a purple background, represented as the silhouette of a crown. The new website is also online.
Among the most interesting new features is certainly the livery, which has been completely redesigned, replacing the historic yellow color with a more youthful purple. The engines and the rear section of the fuselage, including the tail, will be painted this shade, which will show off the aircraft's branding and registration number in white. The Monarch logo will be featured on the front of the fuselage, positioned near the front doors of the aircraft.
